Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong partnerships with nurseries, hardscape suppliers, irrigation vendors, and specialty material providers
Process and track orders with precision, ensuring materials arrive on-time and on-budget for multiple active projects
Provide rapid vendor pricing responses to support our estimating team's active pipeline, helping us win quality work
Track material costs, identify savings opportunities, and negotiate improvements that flow directly to the bottom line
Schedule and coordinate material deliveries across job sites, solving logistics puzzles before they become problems
Source and coordinate vendor quotes for new project starts, setting teams up for success from day one
Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing databases, and vendor documentation that the whole team depends on
Step in where needed—project coordination, scheduling assistance, administrative support—demonstrating flexibility and team orientation
Qualification
Required
Experience: 1-3 years in procurement, purchasing, or vendor coordination (construction or landscape industry strongly preferred)
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of commercial construction materials, lead times, specifications, and the complexities of project-based purchasing
Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple orders, deliveries, and vendor relationships simultaneously
Communication: Professional written and verbal skills for vendor negotiations, internal coordination, and building trust across teams
Technology: Comfortable with procurement software, spreadsheets, email systems, and project management tools
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving delivery issues, finding material alternatives when specifications change, and turning obstacles into solutions
Adaptability: Flexible mindset and genuine willingness to support various operational needs—we value team players who see the bigger picture

Preferred
Knowledge of landscape materials (plant materials, hardscape products, irrigation systems)

Project coordination or administrative support in construction/field service operations
