Director of Growth and Partnerships (Remote, U.S. | 1099 Independent Contractor)
R2 Wireless is a leading provider of passive RF detection and spectrum awareness solutions serving U.S. defense and security customers. They are seeking a Director of Growth and Partnerships to drive business expansion across the U.S. defense ecosystem by building strategic relationships and supporting long-term growth strategies.

Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of prime contractors, subcontractors, technology partners, DoD units, and operational end-users
Develop joint ventures, teaming agreements, and technology integration opportunities
Represent R2 Wireless at defense trade shows, exercises, and industry events
Maintain relationships across acquisition, procurement, and fielded operational communities
Align growth strategies with leadership, technical, and proposal teams
Support long-term capture planning and partnership-driven growth strategies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in defense business development, partnerships, or growth leadership
Strong understanding of U.S. defense acquisition and contracting
Proven ability to build senior-level relationships across primes and government stakeholders
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance
Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ expected)
Preferred
Former DoD/DoW acquisition, contracting, or program experience
Demonstrated experience selling into large-scale federal programs
