Permits Department Drafter
Inland Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Drafter in their Permitting Department. The role involves drafting excavation and traffic control plans, updating project trackers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Responsibilities
Drafting excavation and traffic control plans that meet IES standards, client expectations, all engineering and safety guidelines; as well as, the drafting standards of their respected jurisdiction(s)
Fully updating all information on company and client project trackers as related to Drafting
Communicate effectively and respectfully with all IES employees, clients and associates
You will be expected to maintain regular attendance and consistency in quality and quantity of work
Finally, you will be expected to conform to all IES policies and procedures not listed herein
Qualification
Required
AutoCAD Education /Equivalent to 12+ months of experience working with AutoCAD
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
Ability to follow process of established company standards
Basic mathematical skills
Be able to Multitask in a fast paced environment
Creative, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Prioritizing and attention to detail
Preferred
Knowledge of construction or telecommunications
Knowledge of traffic control drafting
Experience with municipality standards
