Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, responsible for managing the Savannah River Site's Liquid Waste operations. The Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing intern will support ongoing projects in the Communications Department, gaining hands-on experience in internal and external communications work.

Responsibilities
Support ongoing projects in the SRMC Communications Department
Learn about real-world internal and external communications work through hands-on experiences that would include writing, multimedia work with video editing, graphics, and photography, developing concepts for internal and external communications materials, social media assignments, and seeing all of it through to completion
Learn all aspects of SRMC Communications scope
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, and currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing
Must have completed their Sophomore year
Must pass General Employment Training (GET)
Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing (DAT)
A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site
Preferred
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
