Customer Service Representative (BOS)

LSG Sky Chefs is responsible for providing catering services to aircraft, and they are seeking a Customer Service Associate (Driver) to transport meals and equipment to assigned flights. The role involves gathering necessary equipment, verifying documentation, and ensuring excellent service to flight crews.

Responsibilities

Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights
Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp
Interact with other Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems
Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service
Show the customers the contents of the carts
Meet the aircraft in the field
Confirm position of carts
Verify carts are packed correctly
Ensure the customer (flight crew) has everything required to service their customers
Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes
Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines
Must have the ability to follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary

Required

Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
Work overtime when required
Ability to speak, read and understand English
Comply with all work rules and regulations
Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
Able to pass a basic written test
Ability to handle dry ice
Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test
Pass a criminal background and an airport /TSA background check
Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
Must have valid Massachusetts driver's license
Must be able to pass SIDA (10 year) background check
Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours
Must be able to work all shifts including holidays, weekends and overnights
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or 10 lbs. constantly
Must be able to work in all types of weather
Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment
Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise
This position requires to be active, walking, and intense physical activity
Will be exposed to various weather condition and heights
