Responsibilities
Supervises direct nursing care and services for their assigned shift
Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated
Makes routine rounds to ensure proper care and maintain a safe, clean resident environment
Oversees the accuracy and completion of clinical documentation per FV policy and State and Federal regulations
Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, and nursing staff orientation
Participates in family/resident counseling
Assists with implementation and evaluation of quality of care, including ongoing auditing of Quality Indicators
Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers to assure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations
Qualification
Required
Current nursing license
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experienced with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
Ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail
Work collaboratively in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness and communication among team members
Preferred
Three years of nursing management experience in senior care preferred
Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing
Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations
