The intern will handle responsibilities such as scheduling, research, and managing communications while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities
Support the Executive team by handling key administrative tasks such as typing, filing, taking meeting minutes, scheduling, research and working on special projects
Deal with a diverse group of important contacts at all levels of the organization
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
Assist with the set up and breakdown of meeting materials and collateral
Order office supplies and maintain an adequate supply of frequently used supplies and keep inventory count of stock
Draft written responses or email correspondence
Track action items from meetings and follow up on completion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
A field of study, academic background, or demonstrated interest in Business or related study
Interest and passion for working in public service
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail
Some experience working in a professional setting
Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, including PowerPoint
Experience with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
The ability to order office supplies and maintain an adequate supply of frequently used supplies and keep inventory count of stock
Experience in assisting with the set up and breakdown of meeting materials and collateral
The ability to draft written responses or email correspondence
Strong research skills with the ability to compile information for review
Strong organizational skills to track action items from meetings and follow up on completion
The ability to work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects
