Software Engineering Intern - Voice to Voice (Remote, Unpaid)

The Software Engineering Intern will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of innovative technologies within a dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience in real-world projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate on the design, implementation, and optimization of Lillup's embedded systems, AI-powered functionalities, and speech-to-text/text-to-voice/voice-to-voice technologies
Work on projects involving telemetry integration, real-time monitoring, system scalability, and multi-modal interactions
Develop and test software solutions for our iOS and Android apps, web platforms, backend systems, and edge computing applications
Integrate speech recognition and natural language processing (NLP) technologies into Lillup's AI-driven platform
Ensure compliance with privacy standards, data encryption, and security best practices
Conduct testing and quality assurance to validate system performance, reliability, and accessibility
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or C++)
Experience with software development tools and frameworks, such as React, Node.js, or Django
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Cloudflare Workers) and/or blockchain technologies
Understanding of embedded systems, voice-based interfaces, and multi-modal interactions
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
Preferred
A degree or ongoing study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
