Senior Account Executive, B2B Media & Events

SAPinsider is an independent research and marketing services organization seeking to expand its direct sales team with several Account Executives. The Senior Account Executive will manage a warm territory of existing SAP Partner technology clients and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on building relationships and driving revenue through integrated marketing and event programs.

Responsibilities

Own an existing warm client, global named account territory, of 30-40 B2B technology SAP Partner companies and 50-100 net new and winback prospect companies to expand your territory
Build on the strong existing multi-year relationships that exist within your accounts and grow them further
Leverage proven sales playbooks and methods to assure quick results in your territory
Hunt for new opportunities within and across accounts, from first meeting through close, while farming renewals and upsells year over year
Drive renewals and multi-product expansion building on Membership and Events as the foundation stone for every client relationship
Sell annual SAPinsider Partner Membership programs, event & summit sponsorships, webinars, email campaigns, digital advertising, content syndication, editorial creation and lead generation programs
Manage an annual revenue quota in excess of $1.5M in 2026 with a target 115% Net Revenue Retention with >90% client retention annually
Build and deepen relationships with all key Executives and Marketing leaders in every client account including: CEO, CMO, Events, Advertising, Lead Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing and Market Intelligence
Maintain a healthy pipeline with 45-120 day sales cycles and typical deal sizes range from $10,000 to $150,000 plus
Collaborate closely with client delivery, research, editorial and events teams to ensure that every client program launches on time and meets client expectations

Required

5+ years of demonstrated success in sales and closing across B2B media, events, or marketing services selling to marketing and demand generation decision‑makers at B2B technology companies
Proven track record of $1M+ annual quota attainment in media, events, marketing services and demand generation programs
Experience selling integrated campaigns (events, lead gen, webinars, content, digital) where success is measured on marketing pipeline/ROI and not just impressions and clicks
Strong hunter mindset with demonstrated success prospecting into new accounts, new buying centers combined with the ability to deepen and grow existing relationships
Confident in selling to Manager and Director level marketing resources while also engaging VP and C-Suite leadership
Excellent speaking and writing communication skills
Strong experience in pipeline management and leveraging SFDC to manage the business
Ability to work from our Chelmsford MA office at least 2-3 days a week; local candidates or those that are willing to relocate are strongly preferred
