Responsibilities

Own the portfolio-level ESG reporting workstream end-to-end, with a strong emphasis on GHG emissions reporting (Scope 1–3)
Build, validate, and consolidate emissions calculations in Excel, applying public conversion tables and emission factors to activity data to produce defensible emissions footprints
Leverage last year’s Excel-based emissions model as a baseline, iterating and enhancing calculation logic, documentation, and assumptions
Pull from recognized public sources (e.g., regulatory or industry conversion factors), clearly documenting methodologies and being able to explain and defend the math behind the outputs
Coordinate ESG and emissions data collection across Asset Management and ~5 underlying portfolio assets, streamlining inputs and minimizing friction for stakeholders
Apply practical judgment where data is incomplete, proposing reasonable estimation or triangulation approaches consistent with best practices
Complete SFDR reporting requirements, including EDCI templates and supporting documentation
Draft and finalize the ESG report, including narrative development, integration of evidence, and final investor-ready edits
Collaborate closely with IR and internal teams to meet a target reporting deadline of April 30 (timeline may extend by a few weeks if needed)

Qualification

Required

Hands-on ESG and GHG reporting experience, with proven ability to calculate emissions metrics in Excel (not just data entry into third-party tools)
Strong practical application of the GHG Protocol across Scope 1–3, including experience building and maintaining Scope 3 emissions for physical, multi-site operations (energy or infrastructure preferred)
Background in industry or asset-level operations where the candidate has owned reporting end-to-end, rather than purely advisory or policy roles
Ability to clearly articulate emissions methodologies, assumptions, and calculations to internal stakeholders and investors
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, PE-style environment, producing high-quality outputs with minimal oversight

Preferred

Familiarity with EU ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., SFDR) is a plus; deeper EU regulatory expertise is helpful but not required and learnable
