Responsibilities
Drive to construction sites and perform field tests on materials like concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, and steel
Interact with many people from other companies on job sites
Safely conduct yourself and the equipment entrusted to you
Lift and carry samples of various construction materials including soil and concrete
Walk through construction sites or push a wheelbarrow
Work in the laboratory or train for more certifications when not in the field
Qualification
Required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to write or type observations and test results
Regularly utilize a computer or tablet
Ability to lift and carry samples of various construction materials including soil and concrete
Ability to walk through construction sites or push a wheelbarrow
Willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends based on project needs
Commitment to safety on job sites
