ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is seeking an Associate Accounting Analyst to contribute to the establishment, maintenance, research, and analysis of accounts and financial records for the Revenue Section. The role involves performing complex professional and technical accounting work under the direction of the Business Taxes Administrator II, requiring an understanding of the entire accounting process and system.

Independently performs complex professional and technical accounting work in the establishment, maintenance, research, and analysis of accounts and financial records for the Revenue Section
Constant contacts are made with field offices, the Budget Section, Cashiers Section, the State Controller's Office, the State Treasurer's Office, the California State Auditor, and various State Departments
Qualification
Required
Ability to apply general accounting principles
Ability to research, analyze data, source documents, and arrive at sound conclusions and appropriate actions
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Ability to update and create new procedures, prioritize, complete tasks, and meet deadlines
Knowledge of the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal)
Customer Service
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
