Responsibilities
Adhere to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times
Hands-on experience designing, programming, integrating, and commission industrial robotic systems, with a preference for FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa (Motoman), and/or KUKA platforms
Working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems, including programing, troubleshooting, and integration using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemns platforms
Ability to design, document, and maintain electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and system documentation in accordance with applicable standards and best practices
Experience supporting automation projects through the full lifecycle, including concept development, testing, debugging, startup, and production support in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with robotic simulation, offline programming, or virtual commissioning tools is a plus
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering Required: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, & Manufacturing Disciplines are Preferred or experience in lieu of education will be considered
Expert use of CAD is required
A minimum of two successful design to iteration to implementation Automation support projects completed is required
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
4 years' experience in manufacturing equipment/tool design/development preferred
4 years' experience in design for manufacturing preferred
2 years' experience in integration of robotics and automation preferred
Solidworks experience preferred
Experience in plant layout or offline programming software highly preferred. Visual Components, Octopuz, KUKA Sim experience preferred
