Responsibilities
Layout boring locations on site and provide detailed notes of site conditions
Field logging of soil samples collected on site
Coordination/management of on-site drilling crews
Helping to perform drilling operations including manual and machine borings
Communicate with field supervisor, advising of current job status and locations as required
Ensure that project requirements are met and compliant with project specifications, requirements, and company policies or procedures
Operate and maintain testing equipment
Operate and maintain a clean company motor vehicle
Read and interpret construction plans
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds repeatedly
Pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to work outdoors
Must be willing to work some nights and weekends
Willingness to travel out-of-town for short duration assignments
Preferred
Background in construction is a plus
