CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory testing of specimens at the Porterville Developmental Center. The role involves working with various areas of the clinical laboratory and reporting abnormal values as per policy.

Competent, experienced and working knowledge of all areas of the Clinical Laboratory (Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, and Phlebotomy)
Reports abnormal/critical value per policy

Individuals Interested In Applying Must Take And Pass The Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Safety) Examination Administered By The Department Of State Hospitals
The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired
Submit a completed standard state application (STD. 678) and a copy of Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or a similar license of equal or higher level issued by the State Department of Health Services by the final filing date
