Responsibilities
You'll be a core member of our product engineering team, owning major features and systems end-to-end
You'll work across our entire stack—from our React/TypeScript frontend to our Python/FastAPI backend and PostgreSQL database—building the platform that powers job referrals, payments, and workflows for thousands of home services professionals
Agentic AI systems that intelligently route and match in real-time
Workflow automation that reduces friction across complex processes
Platform integrations that connect fragmented software ecosystems
Mobile experiences built for users in the field
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in engineering, including 2+ years directly managing engineering teams
Experience at fast-growing early-stage startups or as a founding/early engineer who stepped into leadership
Proven people manager: You've hired, developed, and retained engineers
Ability to set clear expectations, give direct feedback, and create an environment where strong engineers do their best work
Ability to translate company goals into a product roadmap and manage your team's execution against it
Experience in product design ownership: You've taken products from zero to one — scoping requirements, designing architecture, shipping MVPs, and iterating based on user feedback
Ownership of the full lifecycle of product development, not just execution
Experience in developing AI systems and workflows that accelerate team output
Use of AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to multiply team output and personal work
Ability to operate with grit, speed, and obsession in a high-velocity environment
Systems thinker, customer-obsessed: You think in systems and obsess over the end customer
Willingness to get into the weeds with users and code to deliver the tools they deserve
Founder mentality: You've attempted to start your own company, been a founding team member, or operated with that level of ownership
Preferred
Experience building teams at companies with marketplace dynamics
Experience with API-driven solutions
Experience with agentic routing workflows
Experience with significant POS integrations
