Responsibilities

Prospect and qualify new leads across carriers, MGAs, brokers, and insurance service organizations
Conduct discovery conversations focused on insurance workflows, operational bottlenecks, and handoffs
Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to insurance-specific use cases
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, including Operations leaders, Controllers, CFOs, COOs, and C-level executives
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine insurance-focused messaging and go-to-market strategy
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a healthy, well-qualified sales pipeline
Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
Stay informed on AI trends, workflow automation, and developments in the Insurance and Financial Services sectors
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and insurance industry events

Required

3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation
Background in Insurance strongly preferred
Accounting or Financial Services experience highly valued (AP/AR, reconciliations, close, compliance, audit, financial operations)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong interest in AI, workflow automation, and operational efficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with consultative selling and asking thoughtful, process-oriented questions
Confident with cold outreach and objection handling
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
