Responsibilities
Manage application release schedules, ad‑hoc initiatives, and key infrastructure activities across multiple environments and Scrum teams
Support operational stability and protect sandbox and production environments while upholding availability and security standards
Automate Salesforce project releases and enhance deployment processes to increase delivery speed and consistency
Understand complex applications and coordinate cross‑team dependencies
Communicate deployment status clearly and concisely to all partners throughout the development lifecycle
Follow release governance practices and maintain logs, documentation, and process improvements
Utilize CI/CD tooling in cloud environments to support deployments and testing
Apply data masking techniques to ensure secure handling of sensitive Salesforce data
Participate in release triage activities, including flexible working hours as required
Collaborate with Developers, Release Managers, Product Owners, and leadership to ensure smooth release execution
Support the design and improvement of automation pipelines using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Use Salesforce CLI for managing scratch orgs, metadata operations, and automated deployments
Work within Agile delivery frameworks and contribute to ongoing process improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working in enterprise software delivery environments
5+ years managing release pipelines for complex and critical applications
Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools in cloud environments including GitHub, GitHub Actions; knowledge of Copado is a plus
Strong experience with branching strategies and code review processes
Experience documenting and improving CI/CD processes and best practices
Experience with data masking techniques in Salesforce environments
Knowledge of release strategy concepts including deployments, tagging, versioning, and automations
Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for automation
Proficiency using Salesforce CLI
Familiarity with Remedy, Jira, and Confluence
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings for release support
Strong ownership mentality with focus on stakeholder satisfaction and collaboration
Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
Preferred
Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification preferred
