Responsibilities
Provide psychological services to clients in school setting
Coordinates clients’ clinical program with area staff
Assess cognitive abilities, achievement, social/emotional functioning and learning environments using a variety of standardized and informal measures to determine continued eligibility for special education in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) and Chapter 14
You will be responsible for completing re-evaluation (RR) and psychological reports, interpret assessment data and work with a multidisciplinary team to support the development of individualized education programs (IEP), accommodations, modifications and interventions for students
Conduct referral evaluations and collaborate with educational teams to determine placement outcomes
Review and maintain day student records and documents
Attend professional meetings and/or conferences in order to remain current with standards of professional practice
Qualification
Required
M.A./M.Ed. in Clinical Counseling, School Psychology or related psychological field
State license for clinical practice of psychology and school psychology certification required
One year internship in Clinical, Counseling, School Psychology, or a comparable specialty in psychological Services
