The Judge Group is currently seeking a Creative Marketing Associate to support a government contracting organization in Tysons. This role involves creating compelling proposal graphics, managing social media content, and representing the brand at industry events.

Responsibilities

Attend 2-3 industry conferences per quarter as client's on-the-ground presence
Capture candid moments, speaker highlights, and networking opportunities through photography
Work the room—start conversations, collect business cards, make connections
Represent client's brand with enthusiasm and professionalism
Create same-day social content from event photography
Follow up with contacts and route leads to the Growth team
Create org charts, solution diagrams, and infographics for proposals—often same-day turnaround
Develop visual concepts that make complex technical solutions approachable
Build and maintain a library of reusable proposal graphic templates
Collaborate with capture teams to translate requirements into compelling visuals
Manage multiple graphics requests during peak proposal periods
Execute LinkedIn content calendar: 3 posts/week (President’s personal) + 2 posts/week (company)
Write engaging captions that drive comments and shares, not just likes
Engage daily with industry content—be an active presence, not a scheduler
Track engagement metrics and optimize based on what’s working
Respond to comments and DMs with personality and professionalism
Coordinate content themes with company events and announcements
Maintain and evolve visual brand templates (presentations, one-pagers, event materials)
Create mascot content for casual engagement
Design event collateral: banners, booth materials, swag concepts
Ensure brand consistency across all visual touchpoints
Document brand guidelines and train others on proper usage

Required

1-3 years in marketing, graphic design, content creation, or related field
Portfolio demonstrating visual design work (commercial/professional, not just personal projects)
Experience creating content for social media (professional or well-developed personal brand)
Photography experience (professional or enthusiast level with strong eye)
Track record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
Visual design principles (composition, typography, color theory)
Social media best practices (especially LinkedIn for B2B)
Photography fundamentals (lighting, composition, candid capture)
Basic understanding of corporate/professional environments
Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite OR Canva/Figma—we care about output, not tools)
Strong written communication (captions, posts, brief copy)
Natural relationship-building and conversation skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field
Experience in GovCon, B2B, or professional services marketing
Photography portfolio with event/corporate work
Experience with social media analytics and reporting
Familiarity with federal contracting industry events and publications
