Responsibilities
Own the autonomy systems that enable Astrolab’s rovers to operate safely and effectively in extreme environments
Lead technical strategy and execution across guidance, navigation, control, and perception
Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team
Set system vision
Make critical design decisions
Drive execution
Ensure autonomy systems perform reliably on flight-ready vehicles operating on the lunar surface
Qualification
Required
Experience in guidance, navigation, control, and perception systems
Proven track record of leading technical strategy and execution
Ability to manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team
Deep technical leadership skills
Experience in making critical design decisions
Ability to drive execution of projects
Experience ensuring autonomy systems perform reliably on flight-ready vehicles
