Responsibilities
Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on injection molding and blow molding machines
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime
Support equipment reliability and process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
Assist with equipment startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures per company and machine requirements
Develop and document maintenance procedures to optimize equipment performance
Perform maintenance on auxiliary equipment including conveyors, dryers, and chiller systems
Support mold changes, mold cleaning, and routine machine maintenance activities
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation throughout the shift
Assist with cross-training technicians on routine maintenance tasks
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining injection molding and blow molding equipment
Proven experience with blow molding equipment repair and maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and basic machine shop practices
Experience with machine installation, maintenance, and repair
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Ability to operate material handling equipment and obtain forklift certification within 60 days
Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
Preferred
Technical school or vocational training in injection molding, blow molding, or industrial maintenance
