Total Rewards Compensation Analyst

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst consultant to support their aerospace and advanced manufacturing client during a high-growth phase. This role involves supporting the build-out of scalable compensation and benefits programs, providing analytical rigor, and ensuring that reward programs remain competitive and compliant.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough market research to benchmark compensation data, ensuring salary ranges and pay structures remain competitive
Evaluate internal compensation practices to guarantee equity, consistency, and adherence to relevant pay transparency and equity laws
Support annual compensation review cycles and incentive program management by preparing detailed data analyses and manager-facing resources
Assist in benefits administration processes, including coordinating open enrollment, managing vendor relationships, and addressing employee inquiries
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to monitor Total Rewards metrics such as compensation expenditures, benefits usage, and compliance reporting
Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to guide compensation decisions, budget planning, and compliance efforts
Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices within compensation and benefits, particularly in manufacturing and engineering sectors
Identify and implement process improvements within Total Rewards systems, enhancing workflows and scalability
Provide expertise on compensation surveys, job leveling frameworks, and external market data sources to inform strategic decision-making
Contribute to large-scale Total Rewards initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals

Required

5+ years of experience in compensation analysis, benefits administration, or HR analytics
Advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to work effectively with large datasets
Familiarity with compensation surveys, job evaluation frameworks, and relevant market data sources. (i.e., Radford, Carta, industry‑specific surveys)
Experience managing benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, including open enrollment processes
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy when handling sensitive information
Knowledge of regulations related to pay equity and Total Rewards compliance, or a willingness to quickly develop expertise
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and customer-focused approach
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and goals

Preferred

Experience supporting compensation or benefits in a manufacturing, hardware, engineering, or mixed hourly/salaried workforce
Exposure to equity compensation (stock options or RSUs)
Participation in large Total Rewards initiatives such as salary band rollouts or HRIS module implementations
