Director of Finance - City of Montpelier, Vermont
Pracademic Partners is assisting the City of Montpelier, Vermont in seeking a Director of Finance. The Director will be responsible for financial management and information technology, supervising employees and overseeing the budget for the city.

Reports to the City Manager
Has primary responsibility for financial management and information technology for the City of Montpelier
Directly supervises 5 employees
Oversees financial services contracts
Has responsibility for the complete budget
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Finance, Public Administration, or related field(s) is required
Significant experience in key administrative position within a public/non-profit agency with responsibility for budget
Direct experience in municipal government is preferred
Preferred
Masters preferred
Familiarity with Vermont municipal regulations/policies a plus
