Responsibilities
Install emergency equipment including light bars, push bumpers, auxiliary batteries, consoles, and more
Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles with precision and care
Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
Diagnose, service, and repair emergency vehicle systems
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all work performed
Work independently and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes
Provide your own set of professional-grade tools
Travel occasionally for off-site service calls
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems
Welding and fabrication skills (aluminum experience is highly valued)
Knowledge of diesel engines and air brake systems
A valid driver's license and a great attitude
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Familiarity with fire and rescue vehicles or equipment is a bonus
