DBT Clinical Internship - Master's Level
Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) is a leader in addressing mental health concerns in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. They are seeking qualified students for a 9+ month internship with their DBT Division, providing opportunities for training in DBT interventions and clinical supervision.

Responsibilities
Willingness to learn and provide adherent DBT interventions in group and individual sessions for clients with diverse needs and backgrounds
Ability to provide in-person therapy and/or group at least one day per week at our Apple Valley clinic
Demonstrate emotional intelligence and maturity and modeling appropriate boundaries
Exhibit professional written and verbal communication skills
Be self-directed but willing to ask for assistance when needed
Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week which includes: Two hours of consultation/group supervision, One hour of individual supervision
At least a 9-month commitment to the DBT program and an interest in joining the DBT program at ACP full time after graduation
Participate in consultation/Group Supervision is 12:30-2:30 Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on your team)
Demonstrate a basic knowledge of using technology (Zoom, EHR, email, telehealth, Google calendars)
Willingness to help out in other groups when clinicians are out of the office (based on intern’s availability)
Schedule flexibility during first 3 weeks of supervision to shadow intakes, therapy sessions, and groups as part of the orientation process
Willingness and ability to check and respond to emails and phone calls 8:30-5:30 M-F (within a 2-3 hours)
Complete documentation within 24 hours
Adhere to all team Best Practices including schedule management, professionalism, and documentation
