The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by ensuring that bottles, containers, and packaging components meet company standards and regulatory requirements through detailed inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of bottles, containers, and packaging materials to identify defects or inconsistencies
Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify product specifications
Accurately document inspection results, maintain quality records, and report nonconformances
Communicate inspection findings with machine operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to support timely resolution of quality issues
Assist with line audits, start-up approvals, and sampling requirements as directed by the quality team
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), internal quality standards, and customer requirements
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce defects and enhance product consistency
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred
Knowledge of plastics, packaging, or extrusion blow molding processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize product defects
Basic math skills and experience using measurement tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to complete documentation accurately and consistently
Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periods
Preferred
Familiarity with ISO quality systems, GMP, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments
Experience using quality inspection software or ERP systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
