Responsibilities
Own the Maintenance Index (Downtime, PM completion, Safety, and Skill levels) for the entire welding shop
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of 30+ members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
Manage the annual maintenance budget, including full-cycle spare parts management (R&R) and inventory control within SAP
Prepare and execute the annual operation plan, ensuring equipment performance meets aggressive launch and production goals
Provide expert-level support for PLC-based automation and complex electrical/mechanical systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Required)
Proven success managing teams of 30 or more employees, including recruitment, appraisal, and conflict resolution
Deep understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and troubleshooting for PLC-based automation
Preferred
10+ years in automated manufacturing maintenance, with at least 5 years in a major US automotive environment
AB PLC and control circuit experience preferred
Familiarity with automotive robotic welding (Kawasaki or Fanuc preferred)
