Responsibilities

Maintain the manufacturing plant controls systems and instrumentation

Troubleshooting, configuring, and programming facility automation including DCS (Distributed Control System), PLCs, instrumentation, etc

Implement updates and improvements to DCS systems and other plant automation/instrumentation

Work with other engineers and department managers to resolve automation issues

Qualification

DCS programmingPLC experienceIndustrial instrumentationElectrical Engineering degreeChemical manufacturing experience

Required

B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

Proven DCS experience, including programming

Experience with other automation (PLCs)

Knowledge of industrial instrumentation

Prior background in a chemical manufacturing environment or similar
