Responsibilities
Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases
Manage all phases of discovery
Appear before state and federal courts
Perform legal research and writing assignments
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses and briefs
Conduct depositions, analyze facts, and make legal arguments; and
Report case updates to managing attorney and clients
Qualification
Required
Graduation from accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
2-4 years of experience in the area of civil litigation
Commitment to excellence, maintaining strong ethics and integrity
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal and business documents
Significant experience and developed skills in the areas of pre-trial, trial, arbitration and post-litigation
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
