Senior LevelITR Dominicana is seeking a Tax Professional who will be responsible for executing high-level tax services, including preparation, resolution, and financial analysis. The role involves working closely with Case Managers to navigate complex IRS matters and deliver effective tax solutions.

Responsibilities
Technical Resolution: Represent the firm and its clients during IRS interactions, audits, and appeals to achieve favorable outcomes
Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and complex entities
Strategy & Analysis: Conduct in-depth tax analysis and financial assessments to develop effective tax planning and resolution strategies
IRS Correspondence: Prepare and submit technical documentation and formal responses to the IRS
Internal Advisory: Provide proactive technical advice to Case Managers regarding tax-saving opportunities and potential implications of financial decisions
Mentorship: Actively mentor Case Managers on technical tax codes and procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the case lifecycle
Software Mastery: Utilize Drake Software, Pitbull Tax, Salesforce and Airtable to facilitate efficient tax preparation and record-keeping
Bookkeeping Support: While primary bookkeeping is handled by our internal team, you will be required to perform bookkeeping for clients as needed or when the main bookkeeper is unavailable. This includes QuickBooks setup and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Compliance: Review financial documents to ensure strict adherence to federal and state tax laws
Qualification
Required
Enrolled Agent (EA) certification from the IRS, Tax Attorney designation, or a related professional tax qualification (CPA)
In-depth understanding of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and IRS procedures
Proficiency in QuickBooks and professional tax software (Drake preferred)
Ability to interpret complex tax codes and apply them to diverse financial situations
Strong ability to work with Case Managers to ensure a seamless flow of information
Exceptional accuracy in documentation and financial calculations
