bet365 is building its first technology teams based in Denver Colorado and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and evolve their Sports Trading and Tools Applications and Platform. The role involves working with a Microsoft stack using .NET and SQL Server, while also cross-skilling into Golang, React, and Google Cloud Platform technologies.

Responsibilities

Developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions that process high volumes of data
Supporting and enhancing the existing code base. Performing root cause analysis to create solutions to stop fault reoccurrence
Enhancing and supporting existing trading functions, some of which are used 24/7
Supporting product owners as required
Providing support to the testing team during testing phases of projects
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to support team members professional development
Identifying technical areas of improvement
Contributing to solution proposals as required
Creating work effort estimates

Qualification

Required

5+ Years commercial C# experience. Solid understanding of Windows applications and services
Commercial MS SQL Server experience
Self-driven with ability to understand complex architecture
Proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable, software solutions
Self-motivation and delivery orientated in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Coaching/mentoring experience on technical subject areas
Flair for problem solving

Preferred

An interest and understanding of American Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey and/or Baseball
