Responsibilities

Assist utility operators with maintenance of the water distribution system, including flushing and repair of hydrants
Assist with the inspection and repair of catch basins, manholes, outlets and sanitary/storm lift stations
Assist with the installation and repair of signs and barricades; manually dig holes and trenches
Assist utility operators with utility grounds and building maintenance to include cleaning, painting, lawn mowing, weed control and minor landscape repairs
Work cooperatively with other divisions and departments to maintain city facilities and property
Adhere to and promote safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate safe equipment operation and working conditions in traffic on city streets

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license
