Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients across all age groups
Utilize specialized equipment to support treatment of stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure cases
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care
Float between units as needed to maintain smooth operation during varying patient census
Uphold all documentation and regulatory requirements with precision and professionalism
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting, including some pediatric experience
Current and active New York RN license, along with all relevant nursing licenses
Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system required
Valid drivers license with a current address matching demographics
NURSYS report and license verification must be included at submission
Will consider local nurses within 75 miles; travel experience documentation required
Preferred
Proven charge nurse or managerial experience preferred, with two recent references in such roles
