Responsibilities
Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including right and left heart caths, PCI, complex PCI, CTO interventions, ASA, PFO/ASD closures, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, and peripheral vascular procedures
Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, ensuring optimal patient care and safety
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team
Participate in on-call rotations covering 1-2 nights per week, one weekend every six weeks, and holidays as required
Comply with radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge is required (provided by staffing agency)
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
1+ year of Cath Lab experience
Minimum 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technician; first-timers with relevant certification will be considered
Current certifications including SCRQSA, ACLS, and BLS from American Heart Association only
Ability to work a 4x10 hour day shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m
Must be local or within a 60-mile radius; local candidates considered on case-by-case basis
Preferred
Preferred certification: CCI with RCIS/RCES; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also accepted
Experience charting in EPIC preferred
