Responsibilities
Assess individuals mental health needs and develop tailored nursing care plans in coordination with the healthcare team
Administer and coordinate nursing care to patients in individual and group settings
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and aftercare needs
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as per policies and procedures
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Function as a clinical leader by delegating tasks and supporting staff development
Participate in ongoing evaluation and improvement of clinical protocols and nursing practices
Support a recovery-focused and person-centered approach to care delivery
Uphold the mission and values of a healing ministry through professionalism and compassionate care
May serve as a charge nurse and support medication and physical health oversight
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
active registered nurse (RN) license
minimum 1+ years RN experience required
Preferred
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with psychiatric nursing experience preferred
Experience with mental health and community residential settings is a plus
