CNC Lathe Machinist
Princeton Tool Inc. is part of the Princeton Precision Group, an industry leader in aerospace & defense, outer space, and power generation. They are seeking experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to support the manufacturing of critical hardware for key defense programs, offering both 1st and 2nd shift schedules.

Responsibilities
Set-up and operate CNC Lathe equipment to produce complex, tight tolerance parts
Prove out new and existing programs for operators
Edit programs and adjust machine settings as required
Adjust feeds and speeds as necessary
Perform first piece cuts according to blueprint
Perform light preventative maintenance tasks daily to support machine reliability
Collaborate and provide reliable input on machining approaches based on parts, materials, etc
Follow instructions according to customer or company specifications
Support and train additional personnel as required
Fixture and tool design concept
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualification
Required

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of CNC precision machining experience
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Heidenhain controllers is required
Familiarity with mill equipment, including but not limited to Okuma
Ability to calculate shop math equations with ease
Comfortable working with prototypes and one-of-a-kind parts
Computer literacy is required
Proven track record with consistent employment
Aerospace industry experience required
Ability to use standard measuring gauges for in-process inspection
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team and results-driven environment
Solid understanding of GD&T with ability to read and interpret drawing requirements
Thorough knowledge of machining techniques, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, insert life
Willingness to demonstrate on-machine aptitude
Ability and willingness to work in a team or minimally supervised environment
Willingness to work overtime as requested
Creative, positive, team-player approach to work and projects alike
Preferred
Programming experience is a plus, but not required
