Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to students with disabilities across a range of abilities
Collaborate with classroom assistants, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior management and individualized education plans
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet the unique developmental and educational needs of students
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and support personnel
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Active Special Education Teacher license
Minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
Preferred
Active South Carolina state licensure in Special Education (Multi-Categorical licensure preferred)
Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities
Ability to thrive in a challenging classroom environment with varied student needs
Prior experience in resource teaching or autism-specific classrooms is highly desirable
