Responsibilities
Prepare the Cath Lab for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring proper supplies and equipment are ready
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and control room duties with comprehensive equipment knowledge
Analyze invasive and non-invasive cardiac tests, recognizing and reporting critical findings to physicians
Maintain strict sterile technique and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues
Conduct and monitor patient stress testing as required
Complete detailed patient catheterization reports accurately and timely
Transport patients safely within the department as needed
Fulfill additional duties to support departmental operation and patient care excellence
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
1+ year of Cath Lab experience
Valid North Dakota Medical Imaging License or must obtain within 12 months of start date
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety and cardiac catheterization procedures
Preferred
RCIS or RCES highly preferred
