Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans
Monitor and interpret complex patient data and respond promptly to changes in condition
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety
Participate in mandatory orientation assessments and maintain compliance with hospital standards
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Minimum of 18 months recent ICU nursing experience
At least 18 months permanent ICU experience in the specialty prior to assignment
Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration tests during orientation
