This contract position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where skilled professionals provide care to pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions in a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities
Deliver expert nursing care in a 29-bed Pediatric Cardiology ICU serving patients with congenital heart disease and complex cardiac needs
Manage ventilatory support, cardiac support, ECMO, CRRT, and advanced therapies including VAD and heart transplant care
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Pharmacists, and Dietitians
Maintain close patient monitoring with 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity
Utilize the EPIC charting system to document care
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
active registered nurse (RN) license
minimum 1+ years RN experience required
Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac intensive care experience required
Valid RN license for South Carolina or multi-state compact license
Certifications: PALS and BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
Preferred
Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) highly preferred but not required
ACLS highly desirable
