Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound exams evaluating cardiac structure and function
Interpret imaging results promptly to identify critical abnormalities and alert physicians
Clean and disinfect TEE probes following infection control protocols
Record and report procedural outcomes accurately
Respond to stat or emergency echocardiography calls, including outside regular hours
Maintain complete and precise documentation adhering to service standards
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification
Minimum 1+ years Imaging experience
Proficiency in cardiac ultrasound techniques such as 2D, M-mode, Doppler color flow imaging, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echocardiography
Preferred
Experience in general ultrasound with a focus on cardiac imaging
Ability to perform stress echo and TEE procedures competently
Strong communication skills for physician collaboration and patient interaction
Knowledge of infection control practices related to ultrasound equipment
Capacity to handle urgent requests and prioritize patient care effectively
