Responsibilities
Operate GE MRI equipment with high proficiency
Perform MRI imaging across multiple areas including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular regions
Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion (non-brain), perfusion, gradient echo imaging, and multiplanar reconstruction
Conduct image post-processing and maximize use of surface coils and T-1 and T-2 weighted images
Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain patient care standards for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Employ EPIC electronic health records for documentation and workflow
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Proficiency specifically with GE MRI systems
ARRT-MR certification
Current BLS certification via AHA or ARC
EPIC system experience required
Comfortable working independently
Preferred
Minimum of 5 years recent MRI experience
Experience with abdominal, chest, head/neck imaging preferred
Breast and cardiovascular imaging experience preferred
