Responsibilities
Preparing and positioning patients accurately for scans
Selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters
Administering contrast media and medications in line with regulatory standards
Monitoring patients during procedures
Identifying and reporting any abnormal activity
Adhering strictly to radiation safety protocols
Providing assistance to Radiologists and Physician Assistants during procedures
Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and regulatory agency standards
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
1+ year of Cath Lab experience
Proven experience in diagnostic imaging within a Cath Lab environment
Skilled in performing specialized imaging procedures such as angiography and complex vascular interventions
Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and patient care during imaging
Ability to administer contrast media and medications responsibly
Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor patient responses effectively
Familiarity with regulatory standards governing imaging and procedural practices
