Responsibilities
Participate either alone or as a team in the full life cycle of all software including, but not limited to: Research, Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance
Assist in upgrade and maintenance of software deployed to customer sites
Assist in troubleshooting technical problems with our software and other duties as assigned by Software Development Manager
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of C# .NET Programming
Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code
Solid understanding of Relational Databases and SQL (SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
Experience with modern web application development using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Ability to write comprehensive and robust unit and integration tests
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
Experience working in an Agile development environment as well as knowledge of Agile development methodology
Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the organization
Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently or within a team
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Experience with modern JavaScript UI frameworks such as React and Angular
Strong experience with test automation (SoapUI, Selenium, etc.)
Unit Testing experience
Experience with cloud development, especially with Microsoft Azure
Entity Framework or other ORM framework experience
Cross-platform mobile development experience
Windows Services Development experience
Accounting System Development experience
Point of Sale Application Development experience
Mid-Tier Financial Transactions System Development experience
Kiosk Development experience
Experience in developing with trust fund systems
Application development experience within the correctional industry
