Responsibilities
Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients, including those undergoing advanced therapies such as ECMO, CRRT, VAD support, and heart transplantation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and other care providers
Maintain vigilant patient monitoring and timely documentation using EPIC charting systems
Uphold the highest standards of safety and care consistent with a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Minimum 2 years in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
Active SC or Multi-State Compact RN license
PALS and BLS (American Heart Association certification required)
Preferred
VAD experience
ACLS preferred
