Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with accuracy, efficiency, and professional judgment
Perform tax closings and related accounting work as part of an integrated tax process
Apply tax law knowledge and planning concepts in a practical, client-focused manner
Operate independently, proactively, and thoughtfully—this role values initiative and critical thinking, not rote execution
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation and review experience
Strong accounting-level QuickBooks experience, including tax closings
Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
Proficiency in CCH Axcess and Microsoft Excel
Advanced, accounting-level command of QuickBooks (beyond bookkeeping)
Solid experience with Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, K-1s, 1041(trusts and estates)
Clear, thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
CPA preferred, but not required
