MTL / Senior Account Executive / Army

Responsibilities
Leadership of the Business
The MTL sets the overarching priorities for their business, leads the decision-making process, identifying the path forward for the business and team based on the overarching goals
As such, the MTL is a master of prioritization specifying which tasks, challenges need immediate attention vs. others
As the business leader of their Task Orders, the MTL shows the ability to comprehend and distill complex situations to help navigate the team to solution
The MTL always has their head on a swivel, recognizing how various factors may impact cost, schedule or performance against a requirement and work to mitigate
Communication
When problems or opportunities arise, the MTL must be able to deliver executive level summaries to the lead team and FLT to keep all informed without having to get versed in the day-to-day details
As business leader over their Task Orders, MTLs are responsible for developing key strategic artifacts/narratives to progress projects through key approvals (AEMO, TDDB Leadership, ASLs)
Website Performance Marketing
Guide efforts for implementation of new site launch that includes overhaul of consumer experience and move to cloud environment
Support maintenance of current site that includes ongoing performance testing and experience optimizations
Navigate project transitions between site team and channel teams that maintains process efficiency and strategic / creative effectiveness
CRM Performance Marketing
Develop performance marketing that leverages wholistic consumer journey data and new martech tools
Facilitate upper / lower funnel CRM campaigns that focus on lead nurture and handoff between marketing / recruitment
Oversee business processes that span marketing channels and recruitment that enables increased conversion throughout consumer journey
Dynamic Performance Marketing
Administer precision targeted marketing that provides an end-to-end digital experience from upper to lower funnel
Performance Marketing Reporting
Manage individual channel reports that identifies key insights and actionable opportunities
Regularly review hypothesis tests, metrics of recommended efforts, and program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Assist total account reporting that guides overall priorities and annual planning
Coordinate governance between analytics team and channel teams that maintains report consistency and total account objectives
Productivity
Understands completely how the agency makes money: clients, overhead, PBT, expenditures, etc., and helps to maximize revenue / growth through partner agencies
Improves agency systems to ensure client expectations are fulfilled while agency profitability is protected
Ensures resource management is optimized, making sure people on their team are fully utilized, yet not over-extended
Relationships / Communication / Leadership
Builds client’s trust, dialoguing with clients on brand / business issues and advertising / marketing always searching for ways to enhance the client / agency relationship
Knows how to deal with client challenges or situations in a diplomatic and solution-oriented manner focusing on the issue and not personalities
Takes actions, makes decisions, and shapes team or group priorities to reflect the organization’s vision and values
Initiates and implements big-picture thinking, guiding the agency team to produce superior results
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in account management
Demonstrated financial responsibility and management
Proven experience in managing multiple clients, a digital native who is comfortable building integrated campaigns and leading diverse teams
Broad range of experience across business categories and communications media
Solid reputation, support with examples of; negotiating skills, talent development, and delivering growth by identifying and building business opportunities
