AZH Consulting Corp is seeking a Mainframe QA / Testing Analyst responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and stability of enhancements delivered to DCAS’s CERTS and Civil Service List Management systems. The role focuses on test planning, execution, validation, and release verification within a complex mainframe environment where accuracy and reliability are critical.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and regression plans based on functional and technical specifications
Identify test coverage requirements for new enhancements and existing system components
Execute functional, integration, and regression tests across CERTS modules
Validate new business logic, including NQU process implementation
Document test results, defects, and remediation recommendations
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and developers
Validate fixes and retest resolved defects
Perform post-deployment verification to ensure production stability
Ensure delivered enhancements meet DCAS quality standards
Confirm no adverse impact to existing certification or hiring workflows
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and delivered functionality
