Responsibilities
Efficiently operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Prepare and care for patients, clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized scanning environment in compliance with safety standards
Coordinate closely with physicians to deliver accurate and timely imaging results
Document all procedures accurately while respecting patient confidentiality
Assist with patient care tasks as necessary
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiologic Technology
Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Proficiency with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is essential
Familiarity with routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI procedures
Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient positioning
Ability to stand for extended durations during scanning procedures
Preferred
Certification through ARRT or a related organization is preferred; candidates willing to obtain certification after hire will be considered
